~*It's Halloween*~
Night is falling, no stars are seen
Cold wind blowing. It's Halloween
Little goblins dressed to scare
Tiny ghosts run everywhere
Porch lights on to guide their way
Pumpkin lanterns swing and sway
Trick or treat with bags now full
Games to play and a taffy pull
Bobbing apples, and fishing booth
And caramel corn can pull a tooth
But outside in the dark of night
Witches fly through pale moonlight
Unknown shadows in the trees
Hoot owl's song on the breeze
Scarecrow stands to guard the corn
Pumpkins grin and black cats warn
Spiders swing from silver webs
To fall on unsuspecting heads
A scary time of year it's true
but oh what fun for me and you
costume parties with apple cider
cookies topped with a black spider
