Oh, what beauty I recall
Granny's garden in the fall
Spring, and summer, winter too
Wondrous splendor all year through

Shadows dance across the lawn
Birds sing a summers song
Flowers sway with happy glee
Butterflies flutter wild and free

The whisper of gentle breeze
Echo love through the trees
Inviting shade to bring relief
To all life sheltered there beneath

Autumn's paintbrush gold and brown
Leaves drifting gently to the ground
Blanket of warmth, protecting all
Plants and grass and insects small

Softly, softly the snow will dress
Each flower, tree and blade of grass
Pure white sparkling glorious days
And moonlight snowflake fairy plays

Garden slumbers sleeping long
Waiting for Spring to sing it's song
Awake and bring your flowers forth
Birds that sing and all new birth

Oh how wondrous to behold
Granny's garden blooms unfold
And years of memories created here
And always Grandma and Grandpa near

What I would give to live again
The happy times we spent back then
And watch the seasons come and go
Through summer sun and winter's snow

Oh yes, what memories I recall
In Granny's garden most of all
Fairies and butterflies in childhood dreams
Fluttered and played by garden streams
